The DDSB is looking at developing a grade 9 GLE course that focusses specifically on Assistive Technology. Has anyone created a similar course with a focus on assistive software designed to help students succeed in high school?

Hi Laura, I am not aware of anyone doing it, but sounds like a great idea! I can mention this at our meeting in May. I do teach a course on AT at a College. Would love to keep in touch with you re your work on this!

HCDSB-secondary is developing Learning Strategies (grade 11-GLE30) with an AT focus and we are hoping to extend this to GLE10 in the Fall-special education resource teachers aer writing the units using the new expectations-we would love to work with other school boards and Sheridan college!
